Myrtle- Young Living

🌳 FUN FACTS 🌳

Myrtle has been widely used as folk medicine for the treatment of digestive, pulmonary and skin problems in many parts of the world. The myrtle plant was associated with the ancient Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite. Born from the sea foam, she sought the comfort of a myrtle bush to cover her nakedness, which is why myrtle also represents purity. Greek tradition has it that myrtle was offered to certain men and women as a symbol of honor. The Greeks also valued the plant because of its incredible healing qualities

🌳 WHAT IT DOES 🌳

Greek physicians used the plant oil for lung and bladder conditions, while in Italy, the oil was prescribed to children for coughing. The oil found in myrtle leaves was also used in skincare and as a remedy to regulate menstrual cycle. Today, myrtle oil has been extensively researched for its ability to help balance hormones, specifically the thyroid and ovaries. Myrtle possesses a particularly desirable property; it is an adaptogen, means it  may help regulate a gland depending on the needs of the person.

Myrtle is highly valued for skincare as it helps to minimize oil, open pores and tighten elasticity.  It can also be effective applied topically on location to speed the healing of blemishes

Myrtle is an excellent choice for respiratory support, and is gentle enough for children and elderly alike. It helps to promote healthy mucus levels in your respiratory tract. It encourages easy breathing by helping to open the sinuses

Myrtle makes an excellent deodorizer, helps promote sleep and is used in the aromatherapy world to soothe the nerves and reduce stress.

💪 FUN FACTS 💪

Comprised of six powerful essential oils, this blend helps tp balance and support the endocrine system and works to improve the overall vitality of the body. EndoFlex has a high (emotional and spiritual) frequency of 138mHz

💪 WHAT IT DOES 💪

EndoFlex is formulated with oils that specifically support:

Pituitary glands, another pea-sized part of the brain that controls the endocrine system and secretes hormones into your bloodstream, effects particularly the thyroid)

Parathyroid (four tiny glands in the neck that control the body’s calcium levels and makes PTH -parathyroid hormone- PTH causes the bones to release their calcium into the blood)

Thymus– a lymphoid organ situated in the neck of vertebrates that produces T cells for the immune system

Adrenal Glands– Located at the top of each kidney, the adrenal glands produce hormones that help the body control blood sugar, burn protein and fat, react to stressors like a major illness or injury, and regulate blood pressure. Two of the most important adrenal hormones are cortisol and aldosterone.
