🌿 FUN FACTS 🌿

Known as the “herb of happiness” to the Romans and “joy of the mountains” to the Greeks, Marjoram was used to decorate at both weddings and funerals. Not only would it warm the body and emotions, but many believed it would increase longevity. It was grown on gravesites to comfort the departed soul

🌿 WHAT IT DOES 🌿

Historically, marjoram was used as an antidote for poisoning. It works to support the Cardiovascular system, Muscles and  Bones, so it works beautifully to support healthy respiration, encourage unimpeded breathing, opens airways, and regulated blood pressure. Musculo-skeletal uses include comfort for overused joints and muscles, soothes and comforts muscle tension, and calms the nerves. Marjoram is beneficial in helping to relax and calm muscles that constrict, whether digestive, abdominal, musculoskeletal, chest, etc. SO it has unlimited uses as an aid to the body. Marjoram also aids with a peaceful night’s sleep by helping to reduce stress and anxiety

🌿 IDEAS FOR USE – TOPICAL/ AROMATIC (Non-Vitality) 🌿

  • apply on location to muscles and joints
  • apply over abdomen for menstrual support and comfort
  • apply over chest for respiratory support and to maintain a healthy muscle constriction when coughing
  • apply topically over the spine for comfort and support
  • apply to the back of the neck and shoulders to so the tension and comfort the head
  • apply to vita flex points
  • add several drops to a whole-body massage oil
  • apply topically over stomach/ abdomen to promote healthy digestion and soothing comfort
  • apply to feet bottoms for immune support
  • diffuse for a calming, soothing fragrance (aromatherapy)

  • use to make tea for healthy digestive aid, healthy stools and healthy gas levels
  • make a dietary gel-cap with carrier oil to take daily for support

The oils in this blend are effective for promoting and maintaining a healthy respiratory system an musculoskeletal system. They work synergistically together to provide soothing relief to the muscles and bones, and also provide a soothing effect when applied to the head

+ BASIL – considered by the ancient Greeks as the “King of plants” basil was used to anoint kings. It has been used throughout history to soothe mental fatigue, support calm muscles, promote comfort in the joints and provide overall soothing relief

+ MARJORAM– relaxing and calming to muscles, known as the “Herb of happiness” to the Romans, and the “Joy of the mountains” to the ancient Greeks

+ LAVENDER– The Swiss army knife of oils, Lavender promotes both soothing and healing wherever it is applied

+ PEPPERMINT– used medicinally for centuries to aid digestive, nervous, respiratory and musculoskeletal systems

Basil, known as the “ king of plants” and was once used to anoint kings. Marjoram was known as the “herb of happiness” to the Romans and the “ joy of the mountains” to the Greeks.  Lavender is called the “Swiss Army Knife of oils,” Roman chamomile is nicknamed “The Plant’s Physician” because it supposedly cured any ailing plant that was placed near it! Peppermint has been used since the beginning of time to soothe every kind of discomfort, and Helichrysum goes by the name of “Immortelle,” or Everlasting.

The oils in this blend have historically to soothe tension and maintain comfort in the head and neck especially during times of stress or fatigue. Aromatically, this blend has been stated to uplift moods and the physical associations with stress.

BASIL– relaxing to spastic muscles, used since ancient times for respiratory, digestive and kidney support and nothing mental fatigue

MARJORAM – comes from the mint family, is relaxing and calming to the muscles and has been used since ancient times as a treatment for sore muscles and joints

LAVENDER– a universal oil that has traditionally been known to balance the body and work wherever there is a need

ROMAN CHAMOMILE– from the daisy family, helps cleanse the blood and detox the liver, it is calming and relaxing and helps soothe anxiety and tension

PEPPERMINT – purifying and stimulating to the conscious mind as well as physically cooling and soothing

HELICHRYSUM – promotes healthy circulatory functions, encourages comfort, stimulates calmness and healing where conditions in the body are off balance

🔑 IDEAS FOR USE – TOPICAL/ AROMATIC 🔑

  • This oil is most effective when inhaled.
  • Diffuse for a feeling of relief and clearing
  • Place two drops in the palm of the hands, cup your hands over your nose and inhale deeply
  • Massage along the brainstem or through the thumbs
  • Apply to forehead, crown, shoulders, back of neck, and/or temples
  • Apply to VitaFlex points
